Merry Christmas from Southern Vet Shop @ The Hub, Betty's Bay 

We at Southern Vet Shop want to wish you and your furry friends a very Merry Christmas! We know how important your pets are to you, and we want to make sure they have a happy and healthy holiday season.

Trading hours reminder:

• Normal Trading hours until Saturday 23 December.
• But, we will be closed on December 25th and 26th.

Tips for a happy and healthy holiday with your pets:

• Make sure your pets are micro-chipped and have ID tags. This is especially important if your pets get lost.
• Keep your pets away from holiday decorations and plants. Many holiday decorations and plants can be toxic to pets.
• Don't give your pets human food. Some human foods can be dangerous for pets.
• Give your pets plenty of exercise. This will help them burn off energy and prevent them from becoming bored or destructive.
• Spend quality time with your pets. The holidays are a busy time, but make sure to set aside some time to relax and enjoy your pets' company.

Here are some additional tips for keeping your pets safe and healthy during the holidays:

• Be aware of the dangers of Christmas trees and poinsettias. These plants can be toxic to pets if ingested.
• Keep your pets away from electrical cords and wires. Pets can chew on cords, which can lead to electrical shock.
• Don't give your pets alcohol or chocolate. These can be deadly for pets.
• Make sure your pets have a safe place to hide if they are scared of fireworks. A quiet room or crate can be a good option.
• Remember Betty's Bay is a No Fireworks Zone!
